Our diverse and great team continues to grow
Global volunteers are essential in improving our educational opportunities for students by addressing key challenges faced by our school:
1. Resource Shortages: Limited funding leads to a lack of textbooks, classroom materials, and technology. Volunteers help provide these resources through donations or fundraising.
2. Teacher Training: There is a shortage of trained educators. Volunteers can offer training and support for local teachers and even fill in as temporary teachers for in-demand subjects like English.
3. Infrastructure Improvements: Maintaining facilities is difficult due to limited funding. Volunteers assist with renovations and improving sanitation to create a better learning environment.
4. Access to Education: Barriers such as poverty and gender discrimination prevent children from attending school. Volunteers engage in outreach programs to promote the importance of education.
5. Curriculum Enhancement: Volunteers introduce new ideas that enrich the curriculum, making learning more engaging. They may also introduce important subjects like environmental education and health awareness.
